This high quality UK-manufactured microswitch uses a thermoplastic body and has a temperature range of minus 55 to plus 125 degrees C. It is a Single Pole Double Throw switch (ie has normally open and normally closed contacts) and is operated by a 30mm long stainless steel lever. Alternatively, the lever can be easily removed and the switch triggered by just its plunger. The snap-action switch is rated at about 5 amps at 12V DC and features automotive-type quick-connect spade terminals. Note that the switch is not waterproof.
The switch is supplied pop-riveted to a mild steel bracket - if required, it can be easily removed from the bracket by drilling out the aluminium rivets. Also supplied are female spade terminals with insulating covers, crimp-type wire joiners, and 1.4 metres of high temperature silicone insulated wire.
