US DRIFT MONARO (From 'Serious V8s')
Pikes Peak competitor turned US drifting champion, Kiwi Rhys Millen is taking a modern Aussie muscle car against the best imports in the US drifting championship. Punting a Holden Monaro (Pontiac GTO) sideways, Rhys gave Serious V8s an unrestricted behind the scenes look at his drift machine during a test session at California Speedway. He explains the best techniques, modifications and set-up ideas for getting the most out of your drifter, as well as giving us a proper demo of how V8-style drifting should really be done.

SUPERCAR BATTLE (From 'Best Motoring 11: Super Battle')
The line-up for this true supercar battle, to be held on the East Course of the famous Motegi Twin-Ring circuit in Japan, is mouth-watering:

All steered by professional drivers in a reverse grid format over four laps.Each car does a single qualifying lap to determine the grid followed by an analysis of the top speed, braking and handling performance of each, with a split-screen view of the pedals, plus gear indicator.

The Super Battle is intense. The veteran racer 'Gan-san' in the NSX-R pulls an audacious move into the first turn, going side-by-side with the Murcielago and M3 CSL, with the Modena and 911 just ahead and the Gallardo right behind them.

The battle, showing each cars' different top-speed, handling and braking attributes, is one of the best ever captured on a Best Motoring International DVD.

RIGOLI WRX (From 'Serious Performance 4')
The Rigoli workshop has been the home of the world's fastest WRX for many years. This white Subaru was the very first from it's 'world's fastest' stable, and at Oran Park it took on all comers - rotaries, Commodores, Lancers and even a Lamborghini Diablo, before finishing off with spectacular 4WD doughnuts!

MAKINEN TOUGE (From 'Hot Version 2: Battles @ 10,000rpm')
This is a very special Touge. The Hot Version boys head to Finland to take a ride with world rally legend Tommi Makinen in his Subaru Impreza WRCar. A temporary Touge course, lined by snow banks and covered by ice, is the venue and Makinen is keen to give the regular Touge competitors a thrill, and have some fun with them too.

:It's slippery, so I go careful, no problem, don't you worry:, says the four-time champion to his first passenger, Nobuteru Taniguchi.

Off they go, and as they approach the first, icy, slippery bend Taniguchi says: :This is amazing, but aren't you going too fast? You sure we'll make it?:

The footage is spectacular, watching a master in action and the speed with which he negotiates the treacherous course is amazing. For comparison, legendary Japanese racer Keiichi 'Drift King' Tsuchiya is aboard an STi Spec C, being used to observe- and they're left behind in a matter of seconds.

BANZAI CRX (From 'High Octane Overboost')
One of the staples of the High Octane series has been their project cars, and this time they've gone for a well-used, 15-sec, 104kW ATW 1990 Honda CRX.

Some forced induction, internal engine work, a nice new spray job and a whole lot more and 'Banzai' is ready for action.

When it's finished, it's faced with an array of challenges as diverse as you could imagine. Try a Falcon XR8. Maybe a BMW M3. A Skyline 2.5 turbo, or a 600hp Skyline, or even a GT-R. Of course it couldn't compete with an Aston Martin DB7, could it?

BANSHEE CRX RACING (From 'Mischief Invasion')
The two smallest motors in street racing possible are about to do battle. An alcohol-fuelled Banshee quad-bike, which runs 10-second quarter mile times, (for reference a Ferrari runs 12s) against a modified CRX with nitrous.Without doubt one of the funniest scenes in any car DVD, it's got action, adventure and unbelievable stupidity. What else could you want.

S2000 TOUGE (From 'Best Motoring 11: Super Battle')
With the maximum horsepower machines, regular Touge drivers Keiichi Tsuchiya, Nobuteru Taniguchi and Manabu Orido, take a collection of 300hp machines to see if any can challenge the Touge Monster - the Amuse S2000!The competitors are the defending champion, JUN's yellow Honda Prelude, improved with further modifications, the Phase Honda Accord Euro-R, NER S13 normally-aspirated Silvia, Central 20 Z33 (Nissan 350Z) and J's Racing Honda S2000.

After driving and judging each of these through the Touge and announcing the winner, the drivers then choose the JUN Prelude and the J's S2000 for a first-ever three-way Downhill Touge Challenge against the Amuse S2000.

Using the 'Initial D' rules, it comes down to a sudden-death match-up between the two S2000s, with nothing between them. The drivers are racing at 100 percent, increasing the danger...

ANGLIA TURBO (From 'Serious Performance 8')
The ultimate old-school weapon, Kym Holdt's Anglia is one of the most unusual modified cars we've seen. His 1959 Ford Anglia with a wicked Nissan SR20DET engine pumps out 370hp and does the quarter-mile in 12 seconds. This flame-adorned orange and white pocket rocket is a great example of modern power in a classic shape.

TUNED STRAIGHT 6 SHOOTOUT (From 'Best Motoring 5: Lancer vs Impreza')
The famous inline-6 time attack comparison with the legendary MINE'S Nissan GT-R. Keiichi Tsuchiya and Manabu Orido thrash four modified straight sixes around the circuit: R31 & R32 Skylines, the AMUSE Toyota Supra and then finally, the MINE'S R34 GT-R which is a must-see event. Years later it is still considered the benchmark GT-R in the world for all-round performance.
